Epoxy River Table (2 Part Class)

Part 1: Sunday, May 25, 1 PM - 5 PM

Part 2: Sunday, June 1, 1 PM - 5 PM

This is a 2 part class, All students attend both dates. Tuition includes the 1st & 2nd date. In this class students will be introduced to the process of making an epoxy river table, including mold construction, slab preparation, and epoxy pouring. Several different epoxy options will be discussed, along with dye and dust coloring. In part one, students will build the mold, cut and treat the slab, and pour the river. In part two, students will be instructed on how to prepare their river table for an epoxy top coat using several power tools such as the table saw, jointer, various sanders, and router table. After preparing, the top coat will be poured and projects would be ready for pickup in about a day.

Turn 2 Pens on the Lathe

Saturday, June 7, 10 AM - 1 PM

Make 2 pens! Caleb will give you hands on instruction step by step to make 1 pen. Then he will let you repeat those steps to commit them to memory while being available to help as needed while you make a 2nd pen. Making 2 pens back to back is a great way to get you comfortable enough to go home and make pens on your own!

Free Easy Wood Tools Demo

Saturday, June 7, 10 AM - 2 PM

Only at Woodcraft of Harrisburg, Lewis Kauffman will demonstrate using Easy Wood Tools to make a turning. He will begin setting up the blank in the rough and show the process to turn a smooth bowl that requires little to no sanding! Lewis will be available to answer questions during the demo and at the end. You don't want to miss this demo! Preregistration is encouraged but not required.
