The Bosch® 1617EVS 2-1/4 HP Variable-Speed Router is the industry standard and is built to tackle a broad range of routing applications. This router kit includes a powerful 2-1/4 HP motor with soft start and advanced speed-control technology. The fixed base model is perfect for upright use or use in a router table. The 1617EVS also features Bosch’s exclusive precision centering design, which centers a bit precisely and makes it easy to keep a bit on the intended cutline when using jigs, templates or dovetail jigs.
