This class is the perfect introduction to the woodshop! Students will be introduced to the most important tools in a woodshop as they go through milling, shaping, and finishing to create a beautiful cutting board/serving tray to take home. This is a hands-on experience so safety will be the top priority. Safety glasses, hearing protection, and materials are included.
Create a hunting and fishing knife to use for a lifetime, or give away as a gift. Students will learn to shape and affix a custom handle for a one-of-a-kind knife. No metal working is involved in this class. Materials included.
In this class students will learn how to sharpen HSS turning tools including gouges, skews, scrapers and parting tools. Students should bring their own tools to get the most out of this class.
