Make 2 pens! Caleb will give you hands on instruction step by step to make 1 pen. Then he will let you repeat those steps to commit them to memory while being available to help as needed while you make a 2nd pen. Making 2 pens back to back is a great way to get you comfortable enough to go home and make pens on your own!
Why buy a cutting board when you can make one for less. In this class you will get hands on practice cutting the wood on the table saw, gluing and clamping, sanding with a drum and orbital sander and applying a food safe finish. Students will take home a completed cutting board.
Get started with the basics of spindle turning at the lathe. In this exciting hands-on class you'll learn the skills required to start making spindles on the lathe as you turn two objects: a cove and bead stick and a vase. Tools covered include the roughing gouge, the spindle gouge, and the parting tool.
