Learn the essential steps for milling, squaring and surfacing a board. This is a hands-on class that will teach you the basics of wood technology and stock preparation. We will cover the safe and efficient use of the jointer, planer and table saw. By the end of class, students will have the materials to make a beautiful wood cutting board. This class is a MUST for anyone getting started in woodworking..
Students will learn the proper steps to make a unique pen, from cutting and turning to finishing and final assembly. Each person will turn a pen to take home. Makes a great gift!.
