I have used this on handcrafted pens and it puts a nice durable finish on the wood

Tung oil is the first wood 'finishing' I have ever done. Super novice here. I made a paper weight for a friend. She actually trusted me to do this! She found a very interesting and heavy bronze door knob. I used a spindle to mount it on a block of walnut that has been dry for 50 years, at least. One coat of tung oil brought out the grain. The finish really helped my first wood work piece. I am inspired to do more because of the tung oil finish.

I had not tried tung oil before. I made a mallet with an oak dowel and piece I found in the scrap bin at my local Woodcraft store. Holy crap did it turn something kinda "eh" into a tool that really pops! I'm almost afraid to use it now because it looks so pretty. I've contemplated displaying it in the living room for a while just so I can admire it. I am not being facetious here at all. I'm returning to woodworking and the majority of the items I did years ago I left natural. This experience has opened my eyes to new possibilities.

I’m a beginner when it comes to finishing wood furniture, but this product made my job so much easier! I love the safe environmental aspect, there are no fumes, and you can’t mess this up! You make a mistake, you wipe it up! The cat rubs his hair on it while it’s still wet, no problem! Wipe it up! If I can do it, anyone can finish furniture with this product!

I've had a bottle of this oil for a couple of years to use on two walnut table tops. I recently took a patio teak chair, that's about 4 years old and been in the elements, and my sander and stripped it to the bare wood, went over it again with a very fine paper to give it a very finished look. I applied my first coat of teak oil and it dried in no time, the wood starving for the oil. The second coat was today, I'll give it 24 hours and tomorrow comes the third coat. I'll allow it to dry several days in the garage until completely dry, then back to the patio and add the cushions. This chair after the first coat made an old worn weathered chair look better than brand new, to be truthful this chair didn't look this good brand new out of the box. Thanks WOODCRAFT, this product is the best! p.s. I have all my marbles and they worked well for me.....
