Basic Woodworking

HANDS-ON. OUR MOST POPULAR CLASS!! ADULTS ONLY - NO YOUTH - 18 YEARS AND OLDER. This foundation course introduces you to the wonderful world of woodworking. You will learn how to set alignment and use the chop saw, table saw, jointer, planner, band saw, router table and a stationary sander. Safety will be emphasized with each machine. Each student will complete a hands-on project using basic joinery techniques. Types of wood and finishing techniques will also be discussed. This is a great class and it fills quickly every month so, sign up A.S.A.P. TUITION FEES ARE NONREFUNDABLE WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE SCHEDULED SEMINAR.

Build a Epoxy Resin Charcuterie Board

Part 1: Monday, March 24, 6 PM - 10 PM

HANDS-ON. Our customers have asked for this class so, here we go!!! Our Cutting Board Class Teacher, Doug Jones, has an awesome new class that will teach you how to combine Wood with the amazing Epoxy Pour Resins. Students will learn how the epoxy molds work, how to mix the epoxy and add color to create a one-of-a-kind Charcuterie /Cutting Board. The finish Board will measure about 1 x 8 x 18 inches. All Materials will be supplied in the class. This will be a VERY POPULAR CLASS so, sign up A.S.A.P.

Glass Panel Doors

Part 1: Wednesday, March 26, 6 PM - 10 PM

Part 2: Thursday, March 27, 6 PM - 10 PM

HANDS-ON. This is the perfect sister class to our popular Raised Panel Door class and Cabinet class. Students will learn all the ins-and-outs to make Glass Panel Doors on the router table. Don't under estimate the simple look of a glass door...there are a lot of details in making one but, CMT offers the wonderful Sommerfeld Glass Door router bit set that will have you making cuts that fit perfectly. Standard and Divided Light designs will be shown and students will take home a small finished door that a piece of glass could be installed in. This is a popular class for anyone working with leaded or stain glass. Build your own frames! Space is limited so, sign up A.S.A.P.
