In this class we will build a small tool tote using simple joinery. Pocket holes, dadoes and finger joints all will be discussed. Tools used will include the table saw, drill press, band saw and router table. Each student will have the opportunity to use the tools and practice the skills demonstrated. Each student will build the components needed to assemble a small tool tote.
Learn the essential steps for milling, squaring and surfacing a board. This is a hands-on class that will teach you the basics of wood technology and stock preparation. We will cover the safe and efficient use of the jointer, planer and table saw. By the end of class, students will have the materials to make a beautiful wood cutting board.
