Learn how colored epoxy adds a creative zest to wood projects. Here we will make a small table top, approx. 22" x 16", which will make a nice coffee table or end table. First day: make the mold, prep the wood, mix the liquid acrylic and color agent, and pour it into the mold. Second day: After the acrylic has cured we will remove the wood from the mold and use the planer, jointer, and drum sander to clean up the surfaces. Legs can be added for additional purchase. Whether you are new to woodworking or have advanced skills, you will learn concepts of design, tool preparation and tune-up, and carving techniques. You will be exposed to a bench top spoon mule and a shave horse.
