Make a show piece for your living room. Learn to build a mold, prep live edge wood, clamping, mixing and coloring epoxy. Second day we will remove from the mold, sand, finish and mount legs. Approximate size: 1.5" x 20" x 44".
No kitchen is complete without a nice cutting board. In this class, you will work along side other ladies to learn how to glue up and finish a board as well as how to use the tablesaw, jointer, thickness planer and drum sander. You will leave with a beautiful cutting board that your friends will admire and you will be proud of.
Learn how colored epoxy adds a creative zest to wood projects. Here we will make a small table top, approx. 22" x 16", which will make a nice coffee table or end table. First day: make the mold, prep the wood, mix the liquid acrylic and color agent, and pour it into the mold. Second day: After the acrylic has cured we will remove the wood from the mold and use the planer, jointer, and drum sander to clean up the surfaces. Legs can be added for additional purchase.
