In this hands-on class, you'll turn, every step of the way, a beautiful pen that you'll be proud to show off or give as a gift. And you'll go home with a basic understanding of lathe operation, tools, and turning techniques.
Level up your pen turning skills by incorporating inlay designs! Utilizing two pen blanks and an accent sheet this class will introduce you to basic pen blank segmenting. You will leave the class with a spectacular segmented pen along with an additional contrasting blank to complete in your own shop. We will also learn to apply a CA finish to give your pen a high gloss finish. Pen turning experience is required.
