This class will cover making a 13” x 13” chess board and a box to store chess pieces (class does not include the pieces). You will use the table saw and glue-up parts to make a checked pattern. All rough milled lumber is provided and as a class you will mill up the pieces necessary to make your own board. You will make miter joints on the table saw for the box corners. The router table will be used to make rabbet joints for the chess board and the bottom of the box to set in.
